Despite her career being built on a foundation of covers, MAJ, armed with a range of artistic skills from singing to songwriting, is not your average background artist, a fact stemming from her employment of these skills, and she’s gone to use these to build an impressive fanbase that’s in existence because of her trajectory. Her bubbly persona is another factor that has influenced her growth and she never fails to depict this in her performance. The five-track EP is built on a dominant Afropop sound and is inspired by “love, money, and everything in between…” according to MAJ.
