Martell, world’s leading international prestige cognac brand, has extended its cultural presence across Lagos through a multi-faceted campaign that transforms the city’s nightlife and public spaces. Following the unveiling of The Swift Ascendant—a monumental 14-foot sculpture created by acclaimed artist Dotun Popoola—the brand launched its Experience the Wings of Audacity series across key entertainment venues.
The campaign made its debut at The Wings in Victoria Island, where guests witnessed both The Swift Ascendant and The Martell Voyager. Each participating venue has been reimagined as a sensory experience featuring dynamic lighting inspired by the sculpture, curated soundscapes, and bespoke cocktails designed to embody what the brand calls its audacious spirit.
The Swift Ascendant will travel to additional Nigerian cities as part of the brand’s nationwide movement, with locations yet to be announced. Audiences are encouraged to spot the installation during its journey and share their sightings online, building anticipation for each new destination. Running parallel to this is The Martell Voyager, a 30-day water-based activation that launched on November 22nd and continues through December 31st, 2025. The vessel has already docked at Lulu and Mako, with scheduled stops at Kingfisher, Terra Foam, and Lagos Motor Boat Club, offering Lagosians unique opportunities to engage with the brand across the city’s waterways.
