One of the most important things with releasing music is making sure to get it right with the earliest releases. When Mojo debuted with Sweet featuring AYLØ in 2018, he caught the eyes of many but his follow up effort, Chop Life Crew, one of the songs in the running for anthems of 2019 showed Mojo is adept at creating music that hits his core right where it needs to. His third release, Shawarma is perhaps the biggest sign that Mojo has a penchant for creating bops and needs no help.
Produced by DaRe Kasali, Shawarma draws the listener in with an uptempo drum pattern. Mojo wastes no time taking you into a world of high on one of the most interesting hooks you’ve heard this year singing “ese mi o bale mo, shawarma ni mo lo fa ti ese mi o bale mo.”
Shawarma is another stellar release and really should be a smoker’s delight!
