It was announced yesterday that Mr Eazi has been selected as Apple Music’s latest ‘Up Next’ artist. This serves as a big boost for him as he gets a new documentary, a live performance on James Corden’s night show and a Beats 1 interview with Julie Adenuga, all to be featured exclusively on Apple Music. He took to the stage last night to perform a medley of In the Morning and Legover. Apple Music’s Zane Lowe helped introduce him.
Apple introduced its monthly Up Next series in April 2017 with 6lack. He was followed by Norwegian singer-songwriter Sigrid in May and Khalid in June.
With this, the Banku music pioneer has now been put under the limelight by TIDAL and Apple Music in the past couple of months.
