TP is a young musician who was born in Lagos, Nigeria and is of Yoruba descent. He is currently based in Pennsylvania, USA. He is truly unique as he aims to be the model for combining a music career and a college education. He is currently a freshman in college but at the same time, he has just released three new songs along with a music video. He understands the importance of education and getting a degree but he is not going to let that stop him from succeeding at his passion. This passion being music-making.
In terms of music, his main genre of expression is rap. However, he includes elements from Afrobeat, Grime, Spoken word and Reggae in his work. This is the due to the wide range of music he has been exposed to all his life.
Currently, there is no intention to deliver a project as he is focused on getting attention to his sound. However, he aims to be consistent with his release of material as he progresses as an artist. His main influences include The Fugees, Kendrick Lamar, Lagbaja and Ghetts. In addition, he takes inspiration from the different cultures and situations he has faced in the past as well as those he faces today.
