Nigerian superstar Naira Marley had released an eye-catching video for Excuse Moi. The Gods Timing’s The Best single featuring French Afro-Trap rapper MHD was shot on location in France and finds the two artists paired perfectly alongside one another.
Hailed by NPR as “one of the greatest and most celebrated artists performing and producing in the Afrobeat scene today,” Naira Marley continues to build momentum in several countries, with GTTB clinching the spot of most streamed album of June on Audiomack.
After years of solidifying his reputation as both the pioneer of Afro/Hip-Hop and a prominent voice of the streets, Marley has continued to develop his music, marrying the raw, unpolished tones of UK rap, the Yoruba language, and the sounds of the diaspora. On God’s Timing’s The Best, he presents an unpredictable sonic palette debut in his unique style.
Earlier this year, Naira performed at the Afro Nation festival 2022 in Puerto Rico and Portugal among acts like Megan Thee Stallion, Wizkid, Burna Boy and made a riveting debut on NPR’s Tiny Desk series as part of their Black Music Month programming alongside FKA twigs, Usher, Monica, Denzel Curry, and Ravyn Lanae.
