In the last 12 months, Niniola has carved a niche for herself in the Afro- House genre. Buoyed by the success of Maradona and her This Is Me album, Ms Apata has sought to expand her reach lately. Some months ago, she collaborated with South African House singer, Busiswa for the Magun remix which has given the song a new lease of life.
Seeking to build on that, she’s just dropped the visual accompaniment which features South African cultural references and also subtly feeds the sexy aesthetic which is prominent in her music. The energy is clear with Busiswa and the video which is directed by Clarence Peters is equally as intense as they come with their meanest dance moves and the help of a dance crew draped in African prints and vibrant colors.
