Rising Nigerian Star Kenah Shares Highly Anticipated “Uncover” EP With Summer Sizzler “Foreigner”

Rising star Kenah has released her anticipated sophomore EP Uncover, with Foreigner as the lead single.

Uncover is coming after the success of the pre-released single Mind featuring “One To Watch” artist Amaria BB. The 6-track EP is a vibrant feel-good project that champions Kenah’s soothing vocals, sultry lyricism and versatility. Uncover houses production from Krizbeatz, Killertunes and fast-rising producer Hulla – who collectively deliver a selection of percussive beats for Kenah to gloss. 

Kenah takes centre stage throughout the EP, opening the project with the pre-released single Mind featuring Amaria BB. On Mind, Kenah and Amaria complement each other’s sultry approach as they ground R&B undertones with Afrobeat grooves. Mind explores the feelings that come with being infatuated with a new love interest and makes the perfect track for late night drives around the city.

On the lead single Foreigner, Kenah pairs the dance-infused drop alongside a set of lively visuals that follows Kenah while she takes a helicopter around the city of London; from the dance studio to the arcade, and finally hitting up the city centre, as she brings the energy in this charismatic listen.

Kenah closes out the EP with Shine, a stripped-back acoustic-lead single filled with angelic harmonies that correlate with the emotive lyrics, “Everybody makes mistakes o / I no fit lie to you / So many things I’ve done o / I fit to cry for you.” 

Delivering a well-rounded project that doesn’t box her into a specific sound or genre, Uncover unravels yet another side to Kenah’s unyielding talent as she stuns with talent throughout the project. With previous support from GRM Daily, No Signal, Notion, Clash Magazine and other notable mentions, Kenah continues to build a reputable name in the music industry. After signing her first record deal with JustJoJo Entertainment in 2020, Kenah whose first EP 3:05 Musing solidified her music prowess has since built a devoted fan base who she continues to thrill.
