Rotimikeys is one of those creatives whose contributions have long been enjoyed by music lovers across Nigeria. A man of many talents and range, he has built a career that spans music production, arrangement, performance and composition, working alongside some of the biggest icons in the industry.
His efforts and contributions as an artist and creative are motivated by his desire to create meaningful musical experiences. Stepping out of his usual behind-the-scenes contribution, Rotimikeys, on Sunday, June 21, joined a host of other prominent artists to headline the 2026 World Music Day celebration in Nigeria. He shared the stage with some of the country’s most celebrated performers, including Made Kuti, Johnny Drille, The Cavemen and Dotti the Deity,

With his performance, Rotimikeys added another layer to an already multifaceted career, reaffirming his place as one of Nigeria’s most versatile and dexterous music creatives. Over the years, in addition to shuffling between various roles, as an arranger, musician, producer and creative collaborator, he has also worked with icons like Asa, Yemi Alade, Simi, Waje, Omawumi, Bez, Cobhams Asuquo, Flavour and Nathaniel Bassey, across different genres.

Significantly, Rotimikeys is also passionate about promoting the story and the ideas that are storied in the sound and the craft as well. At World Music Day, he demonstrated this passion, supporting the story and dreams of growing talents in the industry.
Although Make Music Lagos advertised a panoply of talents in the industry, across different years, Rotimikeys’ presence was an exhibition of how multi-talented creatives and producers can own and push forth their own stories through what they do.
