Simi’s sophomore album, Omo Charlie Champagne came and went with much less vim than her debut, Simisola. Off the 13-track album, she shares the video for one of its standouts, the Patoranking assisted, Jericho.
In typical Simi style, she takes the Dancehall inspired bop to the streets adorned in an array of beautiful colours where she serves moves and looks in different style charged scenes. In between the razzmatazz, the duo dramatically but swiftly pass their message across, leaving little to no room for criticism and doubt.
Simi is on the brink of a complete revamp of her brand, following her exit from x3m Music and with releases like the Jericho video which doesn’t stray far from her usual style, we expect nothing short of consistency from her.
