Skales has been using his music as a medium to express his nonchalance towards his haters since he was a neophyte at Empire Mates Records. This is 2018 and with fans and haters all questioning his stance in the industry, Skales still turns to music to let everyone know he’s not bothered only this time he reverses to old mechanisms of lackadaisical comfortable rap to brace the groovy hooks and chorus articulated on atmospheric synths and drums in new single; SMH (Shaking My Head).
Skales reiterates his manifesto stating for the umpeetenth time albeit using different words this time “I just want to make my mama proud and fill my belly“. Its beyond clear now that he really isn’t bothered and the unrelenting wave he’s been riding on in recent months proves this.
