Suté Iwar Is Ready To Go To War On Rhythm Rife ‘Funk Soldier’

Suté Iwar is taking a different approach to his music this year. Already, he has bemoaned a wonky relationship on an experimental single titled Fantastic! and barely a month since its release, he doubles down on his emotive state with another love-centered single, Funk Soldier. The self-produced single has a different taste than the former, sound and story-wise but it’s presented in the same vein as your run-of-the-mill Suté Iwar, charged with rhythm and soul.

Just as expressive as he was on the earlier released Fantastic! or even more, Funk Soldier gives us a more poignant Suté Iwar and this is elevated by the teeming metaphors that run from start to finish of the single. Not only is Iwar a Funk Soldier filled with promises top of which is to go to war for his muse, but he’s also a maestro, wielding his sonic capabilities as weapons. He tackles our thirst and touts our adulation as spoils.
