Teddy A promises to go “down” for your love.

Reality television is one of the better worn routes to stardom. Despite failing to win the last installment of Big Brother Nigeria, Teddy A has proven to be one of the more popular housemates outside the house. This being a result of what is perceived as a decent personality and his relationship with fellow housemate, Bam Bam. Essentially, these factors have helped make him marketable. In a bid to ensure the focus is not lost, he’s channeling the attention towards his first love: the music.

His latest single and video, Askamaya is a softly sung number in appreciation of his “woman and everything” promising to go “down” for her love. The song fits the current wave of slow songs running the Nigerian charts. Whilst, it’s a great first offering that raises a question about its originality.
