Teni Releases Two High Energy Singles; Shakeam And Case

Few weeks ago, Teni was labelled as that female artiste who only possesses the sonic attributes of a hit maker and not the physical ones, the vocal powerhouse breezed past the absurd tag and went on to claim all the accolades streaming from summer hit; Askamaya including a show in Georgia which saw a massive turn out of fans few weeks ago.

This week after teasing the release of “two new jams” via her social media profiles, the Dr Dolor Entertainment signee returns in her recently acquired mind blowing, hit making and crowd controlling fashion with not one but two solid Afrobeat tracks that possess all the makings of hit singles as promised.

The high energy tracks titled Case and Shakeam feature Teni in her natural groovy element. In Case which is accompanied by a comedic video featuring Teni doing drastic things for a crush, Teni delivers a love themed Ballad which finds her rolling out a manifesto arising from intense feelings for the track’s muse and she does this effortlessly on a plane of synthesized keys and drums provided by Jaysynth.

She then switches tempos on Shakeam; a more intense and upbeat version of her love narrative in Case. Adding live strings, saxophones, a shaking instrument and drums all reminiscent of a typical Fela Anikulapo-Kuti set complimenting her spirit filled vocals chanting her feelings in a fusion of her native dialect and english she completes the jazzed up, movement inducing vibes maintained throughout the track.

Its almost obvious the young artiste is laying the groundwork for a project and judging by her track record, whatever she’s cooking will be an unforgettable hit.
