This Is What Rihanna’s First Fenty Collection Looks Like

The world finally gets a full look at Rihanna‘s first Fenty Collection. As CEO and artistic director, Rihanna will make history as the first black woman to head a LVMH brand, fashion’s best announcement since this year. And yet the most pivotal role she will play in her new venture is one as muse.

The long-awaited collection from Fenty by Rihanna is here and unique pieces to haul on for the quirky and edgy fashionable girl. Robyn Fenty successfully infused her personal style and love for fashion into every detail in this collection.

The collection favors silhouettes with big shoulders and cinched waists. The power suits even have matching waist bags to accentuate curves. Salmon, camel, white, and raw denim make up the simple color palette. Futuristic sunglasses and sandals complete the collection.

Prices, which start at around $200 for a T-shirt and rise to around $1,500 for outerwear, have been the subject of ongoing debate. Rihanna acknowledged that only a small fraction of her tens of millions of fans would be able to afford a $1,100 dress, but ultimately, she said, “luxury couldn’t be something that cost 30 bucks.”
