If Juls’ Leap of Faith EP did only one thing, it was assure us that some of our favorite new acts (Nonso Amadi, Odunsi, Santi, Tomi Agape) had the chops to create music of the highest level and hold their own in the African soundscape. For many, that was the first time they paid attention to Tomi Agape, a Britain based singer who had continued to find her place in RnB circles. After two years of a stream of singles, Agape looks to be ready for her debut body of work which is suggested to be coming some time this year as she releases In The Night featuring Nonso Amadi.

The record which falls squarely in the Dancehall genre is produced by Spax and sees Agape inspire her listeners to visualise a night at a party with someone you really like and have no fear showing off. If Tomi fails to make your mind race Nonso Amadi’s verse should probably do the trick.
