What’s up with Choc City?

Ever since that big scene they threw a couple of years ago highlighting their football squad of a roster, the label seems to have been plagued by a couple of issues. Audu Maikori exited his day to day role to take more of an ambassadorial and advocacy role while his replacement, M.I Abaga has earned criticism for lacking the competency to run a label and the evidence seems to bear this out. Flagship artiste, Ice Prince has melted and is bordering on irrelevant, at the moment.

Kenyan singer, Victoria Kimani seems to have an issue with the label too. In an Instagram post, she made her feelings clear that her next body of work will be her last.
