Burna Boy elevates TitoM & Yuppe’s Tshwala Bam” with the Remix

On this episode of Afrobeats Decoded, we dig into Burna Boy’s star turn on TitoM and Yuppe’s Tshwala Bam Remix. This is the latest in his long line of scene-stealing remix features as witnessed on Sungba, Do I and Yaba Buluku.

Burna’s verse takes a general path of self-adulation citing his sability, comparing himself to the Godfather and King Solomon. Performed in isiZulu, Wetshwala Bami translates as “my alcohol” or “my liquor,” and the song documents the struggles a man has with overcoming an addiction to alcohol.
