Following the release of his first single in over a year, Wizkid finally released Bad To Mewhich is an Amapiano infused track. It served as the first look into what Wizkid has in store on his forthcoming album More Love, Less Ego. The Bad To Me track which was produced by P2J and Sammy Soso, skyrocketed to the number one spot on the Top 100 most played songs shortly after its release and now Wizkid has dropped the official video for the record.
Even though Bad To Me received mixed reactions, with some fans praising the artist for switching up his style, others have criticised the Amapiano infusion on Bad To Me. With the release of Bad To Me, anticipation for Wizkid’s MLLE album has kept growing.
The Bad To Me video features colourful visuals of Wizkid on what appears to be the set of a TV show. Wizkid takes the stage on the show to perform Bad To Me and he doesn’t disappoint. The video is obviously another way to keep the buzz up for his upcoming album as there are scenes that continue to tease the upcoming album, with the video ending with an unreleased song playing in the background till it fades out.
While many think that Wizkid won’t drop MLLE anytime soon as his delayed release of Made In Lagos hints, others are positive that we are going to get the album this year. The Bad To Me video also features some 80’s vibes as well as some dance steps from Wizkid. Overall, the visuals are calm, unique and engaging.
The video comes just weeks after Wizkid had his MLLE album preview in collaboration with Apple Music live in London that gave us a sneak preview of what to expect on the highly anticipated project.
