The trailer for Banana Island Ghost is out and it is both intriguing and engaging as it is confusing. From the creators of Before 30, the movie sees Chioma ‘Chigul’ Omeruah take the spotlight as the soul mate of a ghost (Patrick Diabuah), too afraid to go to Heaven. The quality and production appear similar, if not better than The Wedding Party, even featuring music from Odunsi (The Engine). It previews as highly comical (despite the relatively long trailer) and I was on board until the sudden appearance of the Indian Ninja. As well as other main (but lately introduced) characters piling onto the screen. The transition from one storyline to a bunch of others disrupts the fluency but I remain impressed by the bravado of it all.
