Chimamanda Adichie is easily one of the most prolific Nigerians alive. Her literary career thus far, has seen her courted by a range of cultural and institutional behemoths. She was recently selected by students to give the Harvard 2018 Commencement speech- something she expressed was a source of pride for her.
In speaking, she touched on the current culture of outrage and the need to temper this with both intent and context.
She went on to advise the graduates on some values she holds dear. Some of which include;
The Importance of always telling the truth.
The need to show courage regardless of the climate.
