Jay Z’s TIDAL announces partnership with MTN

Posted on

In 2014, Jay Z purchased the Norwegian streaming platform, Tidal in a bid to ensure artists were able to earn more profitable splits from their work. The company also called attention to its superior sound quality as part of the strategy to help set it apart. Over the years, the company has gone from strength to strength and announces its entry to this part of the world via a deal with the country’s biggest telco, MTN.

The partnership sets out to introduce the platform to African customers with MTN customers getting a variety of options for a data-inclusive TIDAL membership as part of their mobile plan to gain access to exclusive high-quality streaming music, videos, concerts and more.
