Future ft Drake & Tems – Wait For U

Tems has been in her bag since she collaborated with Grammy Winner, Wizkid on Essence off his album Made In Lagos. Following the success of the album, she featured on Drake’s 2021 album titled Certified Lover Boy. The winning streak continues this year with Tems modelling new sneakers for a popular sports brand, Reebok and recently introducing a new radio show titled Leading Vibe on Apple Music. Now, hip-hop heavyweight Future has enlisted her and Drake on Wait For U, a track on his album. The collaboration is perfect with amazing instrumental and sensational melodies. Tems’ verse is beautifully scattered across the track making this new single the right song to unwind with.

Victony – Kolomental 

It’s no news that Victony is talented and never misses with his songs. The talented singer is back this week with a new single called Kolomental to commemorate the accident that nearly claimed his life a year ago. He begins this track with melodious chants in falsetto and maintains ingenuity throughout the track as he muses on the seemingly mundane activities of life. This Afropop record is captivating and bursting with stellar harmonies. Victony sure knows how to put his sultry vocals to work.

Young Jonn Ft Davido – Dada remix

Young Jonn is not just the wicked producer anymore. These days, he is more of an artist since signing an Artist Recording Agreement with Chocolate City and putting out new music. He cements his transition with his new EP Love Is Not Enough (L.I.N.E) and now the Davido-assisted Dada remix. The melodies and sound engineering are outstanding which makes this remix the perfect song to turn up to.

Ninety – Rare Gem EP

Since the release of the promotional single Diamonds, everyone has been anticipating the EP and it is finally here. This body of work embodies different types of women in Lagos and Ninety’s execution is spot on. On the EP, Ninety flaunts his musical prowess in different genres from Afropop, Dancehall and Amapiano. His lyrics and vocals are pleasing. Rare Gem is worth listening to this weekend.

Goya Menor Ft Nektunez, David Guetta – Ameno Amapiano remix

Goya Menor’s Ameno Amapiano remix was the go-to Detty December track in 2021. This year, Goya is not letting up as he taps prominent French Dj and producer, David Guetta for another remix. David delivers an amazing spin to the hit song, adding his EDM touch. This is a remix we did not see coming but are certainly happy to bump to this weekend.
