Last year, building on the songs like IHY and Lay Low, as well as features on Lady Donli’s, Enjoy Your Lifeand DndSection’s Love Lies and Bleeding, Somadina made a case for herself as a star in the making with her five-track EP Five Stages. Building on her resume and budding lyrical genius, she highlights her distinguishing traits on display her latest single titled Supersoma.
On the GMK produced track, she uses sultry vocals and indie-pop tunes to describe her superhero characteristics with alte notes that are very pleasing to the ears.
The song can be seen as a theme song since it’s an ode to the singer that connects to the listeners in a very powerful and encouraging way.
Speaking on the importance of the song, Somadina says: “Supersoma was the moment I realised that the things which had scared me most, my weaknesses, were in fact my strengths, and I was a lot stronger than I ever imagined. Superoma establishes who I am; a Superhero!”
