From Loti and KD‘s neophyte partnership to Wizkid and Blaq Jerzee’s sturdy partnership, we’ve witnessed this collaboration type in its many forms without reason to be averse and this month, Teni and P.Priime on Come And See, in celebrating the former’s birthday, come together to give us yet another reason to give it up for artist-producer collaborations
The mid-tempo celebratory song rife with signature slangs and native chants begins with a smattering of low keys followed by sweet chords that serve as the perfect backdrop for Teni’s delivery of her come-up. Her emotive rendition, reminiscent of the earlier released, Uyo Meyo, amplifies the narrative on the latter and with the inclusion of P.Priime’s mellow but tuneful instrumentals, it’s hard to avoid escaping into the dimension, Uyo Meyo inspired.
