The Submarine & Roach show a conscious side on new episode

Submarine and A Roach is back for season two if you happen to be lost somewhere below the submarine. On the second episode of the new season, the submarine and a roach are joined by their friend whose role on the podcast is not reflected in the name and they touch on a wide range of issues and show us a conscious side we may not be typically used to.

The trio talk about things like Otodo Gbame, Folorunsho Alakija and how she rose to wealth as well as Obasanjo calling her out once at an event. They also speak about the English equivalent of agbalumo which doesn’t seem to exist, Nigeria’s ingrained begging culture and the holy trinity of abusive men, Joe Jackson, Matthew Knowles and someone else we don’t seem to remember right now.
