The much-awaited debut EP from the Nigerian singer Deji Abdul has been well-accepted since its release on January 31. The raw R&B project debuted at number 27 on Apple music’s African album chart two days after its release and has since moved further up the chart peaking at number four position.
The six-track project titled Hybrid From Lagos features his 2018 summer hit Bandanna and his late 2019 single Power of Love. The singer did not disappoint his fans on the project that had no features save the last track West African Girl featuring Rebecca Winter.
Taking fans on a sonic love trip that bursts with fresh blends of cupid soundtracks, the EP is right in time for the Valentine season and would definitely be enjoyed by fans well beyond that.
