After the stellar year he had last year, it’s clear Davido’s game plan this year is centered around the collective. His first 2018 feature was on E Cool’s Ada while there’ve been other drops like Mind and Bobo. In fact, his only 2018 solo release was the Made for Valentine’s Day Flora My Flawa. This points to a timeline of moves made at highlighting the competency of DMW as probably the strongest label in the country right now.
Aje is a more subtle take on the Ghanaian sound that has infiltrated the soundscape in recent years with Peruzzi taking the opening verse followed by Davido and then Yonda. The video was shot in Dakar by Dammy Twitch and bears the work of Fresh and Tee Y Mix.
