Tinie Tempah now goes by Tinie and as with every name change ever executed in the music industry, it comes with a barrage of change. We caught a whiff of it on the Not3s assisted Top Winners now this week, on his latest, a collaboration with Tion Wayne titled Moncler, it’s quite evident where he stands. He recently told The Sun he thinks rap is the new rock and roll, touting the genre as what leads now and on Moncler, he delivers with authority and certainty that not only his single but the entire genre is fueled with its rising relevance tucked in the fiery deliveries in most rap records.
Although a loosie created to cushion listeners’ feelings during this time, Moncler is a bass punctuated track complete with the makings of a potential summer hit, tipping both Tion and Tinie towards the top of charts with their designer label driven rhymes and a catchy hook as relatable as it is motivating.
